Using Bridge is an Italian rock band from Rimini.
In 2002 the desire to play music leads two friends guitarists, Simone Antonelli e Federico Arcangeli, having the idea of forming a band.
Soon they find the drummer, Alex Bagnolini.
While searching finally came to them the singer and the bassist, both in one person: Manuel Ottaviani.
The result is the first line up of the Using Bridge, which will perform for a long time in many clubs and rock clubs, as the Velvet, playing cover songs and cultivating the first original pieces from their own.
The first song they've ever written in Vicodin based on a dream of Federico, violently born and aggressively shown at the general public that appreciate and dance it.
Then in a short time, quickly and instinctively, comes the first album, "Sha-Whao" released with the label Videoradio of Milan (2004) which has a sound very '70s, yet modern and attractive, with different sounds ranging from the noise of "Memento" to the punk of "Everything's all right" to some kind of pop in "You", which is not by chance is the highlight of the disc, the song that the people always ask during the concerts.
Unfortunately, at the end of one year full of concerts, the light of the band turns down and after much hesitation the drummer definitively leave the band.
During the following year and a half the band changes two drummers without ever finding the right push that finally came in 2006 by Marco Lupo, a drummer that despite its being hard, very picky and always striving for perfection, putting him in stark contrast to the other band members, make him essential finding new sounds and creating what will be their second album wich, after the split from Videoradio, is produced entirely by members of the group and will ready to see the light in 2010.
Definitely a huge development through which the Using Bridge can show their soul grunge and stoner that they brought inside for many years giving them the opportunity to speak with greater candor and sincerity towards the listener and towards themselves.
