Bio

Starting as a High School band in January 2007, Us Vs. Them. started playing birthday parties, bars, and anything else readily available to them. Through rising popularity and demand, they landed there first major shows on the larger local circuit.

Us Vs. Them has gone through a series of member changes and genre directions. Coming from a punk rock background Jake Rubinton, (19) has been playing guitar and singing for 9 years, his natural abilities were easily recognized by the rest of the founding members of Us Vs. Them. Coming from a more contemporary background drummer Jason Blount(19), has been playing drums for 5 years. Patrick Coleman (18) the youngest original member joined the band in 8th grade and has been playing guitar for 6 years. Since day one, he has brought a unique showmanship and a superior writing ability. The most recent addition to the band Mike Torres (17) showed a great deal of charisma and front man abilities. Solely a guitar player, he has been playing for 8 years and has since picked up the bass to meet the needs of the band. Finally reaching the successful combination of talent , hard work, and heart these four have not only established themselves as a serious music act but have grown to become a family.

Shortly after establishing the band. Us Vs. Them went on to record their first record "Who I Am" at Rockbot Studios in St. Augustine, Florida.

Us Vs. them has shared the stage with many national acts, and has completed many successful regional tours, including a spot on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour. “Us Vs. Them to us is not about popularity or selling out shows. Us Vs Them is the connection and experience and the energy that us as a band, fan, or anyone involved shares and enjoys. I’m sure I can speak for everyone in the band when I say that each of us loves what we do and hopes to continue for as long as possible.” Says bassist Mike Torres. It’s this attitude and relentless work ethic they have shown, that has brought them to the top of the regional circuits and continues to propel them forward.

In the future Us Vs. Them plans to tour as much as possible, become a national act, and leave their footprint in music history.
