Bio
Rebekah Ray and Matt Shepherd have been playing music together since 2001. In early 2005 they met up with kindred spirit Mandy Clements and Sucking Fong was born. After some inter-personal drama, the Fong parted ways, only to regroup a few months later, now referring to ourselves as "Utica Drop Forge and Tool Co." When asked to list influences, each member of the band would probably give several different answers, ranging from Indigo Girls to Zoe Keating, to Neutral Milk Hotel... so in the interest of brevity, UDFTC's sound has been described as "alterna-folk"
