"…Recently there's been a spot of hope in a few who have emerged to set things straight. One of those MC's is UZOY." - JENESIS Magazine
"Yesterday she released her long awaited mixtape The [DEF]inition on 2DopeBoyz.com, to an overall critical acclaim. The mixtape is worth checking out, so download it here, and check out her “Now ‘Til Infinity” video." - Ozonemag.com
"Acts like UZOY are front running the movement with well versed raps and killer deliveries to boot. Case in point, her debut Booth feature the bittersweet Bionic Woman, the only bitter part about it being so short." - DJBooth.net
"Uzoy opened the show with her butane flow. Her set was energetic with a hint of ol' skool charm. Confidence. Passion. Substance. Houston's answer to Jean Grae. Fierce. Technically sound. True Golden Ager. Will do some damage once someone of import finds out about her." - Houston Press
"She's very clearly more naturally talented than many of her male counterparts here in town. But here's the main concern, and you may have actually noticed this already: Uzoy is a woman." - Houston Press
