Bio
Vaadat Charigim is an Israeli shoegaze band consisting of Juval Haring, Dan Bloch and Yuval Guttmann. Their sound is a mix of UK shoegaze influences with local Israeli 80s and 90s alternative acts, notably Yossi Elephant and Plastic Venus. Haring's unique vocal style is reminicent at times of Morrissey's.
After a demo tape recorded by Juval Haring in Berlin on a 4 track recorder ended up in the hands of drummer Yuval Guttmann and bassist Dan Bloch, the band formed in Tel Aviv in 2012 and rehearsed for a year in the bomb shelter of an elementary school, working on what would later become thier debut album - "The World Is Well Lost".
"The World Is Well Lost", produced by Kyle "Slick" Johnson (Wavves, Modest Mouse, Cymbals Eat Guitars) is due out this summer on ANOVA/Burger Records/Warm Ratio.
