VA-EMCEE

Portsmouth, Va. - VA-EMCEE is a songwriter and producer based out of Virginia. He’s been writing for 11 years and has been making beats for 13 years. In order to get noticed, he needed to bring something different to the game. This ignited his creative side and began producing unique sounds.

VA-EMCEE’s new single, “Let It Rotate (360)” s off of his debut CD called “Hustlers’ Product”. Its meaning is a complete turning around of events from bad to good due because of a woman. This song has a swagger that you can feel through your bones. Its’ cool rhythm, the lyrics and that beat all make this song a hit. It shows the versatility of VA-EMCEE by exploring the softer side of hip-hop. This song absolutely has radio appeal. Each of his songs combines a sense of flow and a coolness about them. He utilizes a mixture of soft hip-hop with a sprinkle of ballroom style approach. This is very unusual for a hip-hop artist. However, VA-EMCEE succeeded on all levels.

The creation process behind his debut CD, “Hustlers’ Product” was a learning experience in composing, writing lyrics and recording. With each song came a desire for more knowledge and for more technical ideas. The end result was a hip-hop delight for all to hear.

This CD is set for release around the end of 2010 in both physical and digital formats.

VA-EMCEE was featured on Slip N Slides “On The Grind”, gaining the exposure he needed. He featured “Wrist Watchin” at this Miami event and received great reviews.

VA-EMCEE is currently working with A & R Select in West Hollywood, Ca. for publishing, licensing and/or placement opportunities.
