VAHCO BEFORE HORSES

Vahco was born and raiseD in San Francisco, CA and currently lives in Denver, CO. He has played piano all of his life, and was discovered to be somewhat of a prodigy after his grandmother caught him playing Mozart at age 4, by ear. He spent his early teens in New Wave and Punk scenes, then produced quite a bit of hip hop and gangster rap in the Bay Area during the early 90s. His style combines 90s elements of hip hop/rap/ and rnb with new wave sounds ala Depeche Mode, Bjork and David Bowie. He has a massive discography of albums in which he sings as well as "soundtrack" or "electronic landscape" albums....He performs alone, but for the last year has performed with accompanying   guitarists, percussionist and violin players.He has just released his new LP "Missing The Moons" and will be performing songs off of this album as well as the albums " PeaceLove and Beats", "Atravez De La Estrellas" and "Interesting Giraffes"....And as far as the name...Vahco Before Horses is in fact his real name. Vahco's father is full blooded Ojibwa Indian, and Vahco is constantly adding that spirituality into his sounds. Peace. Hope to see you soon.
