Varduhi already has her place in the history of the Yerevan State Conservatory, as she was one of the first students of the Jazz-Pop Department. Usually in the choir songs everyone prefers singing the last voice, as it is easy, during the ensemble lessons Varduhi always sought singing of middle voices what speaks about her harmonic sensation and rhythmic exactness, her voice raises heartiness and sincerity. That's why I always listen her performances with pleasure which differ from the admitted performances and I'm grateful that she has included some of my songs in her repertoire. Bio
Varduhi Davtyan or simply Vaka was born on October 30, 1980. She entered the musical school after Sayat Nova and began to sing in the choir. She began to create at the age of 15 and entered Komitas State Conservatory, variety-jazz department. She has been participating in many concerts and festivals. She performed in different regions of Armenia. She has shot two music videos Heratsir and Du Es the director of which is Mihran Stepanyan. Very soon Vaka is going to release two albums at once. The first one will include compositions written by Martin Vardazaryan and the second will be an authorized album.
