The Orchestra Vale Tango was founded in 1999 by Andrés Linetzky . Since then they hace performed in several renowned places such as the International Festival of Tango in all its editions, the forum Gandhi, FM de la Ciudad; regularly in the cellar of Tortoni Caf'e, the School of Popular Music of Avellaneda and the most important stages in Buenos Aires city. Their most significant presentation so far has been the one realized in the Robert Duvall & Francis Ford Coppola's film 'Assassination Tango' where they recorded the theme composed by Andres Linetzky called 'Rey de Copas'. They also took part in the Show Danza Maligna and Tango X 2, by Miguel Angel Zotto.
Vale Tango is an orchestra that does not mix traditional tango with modern instruments or sounds yet is in search of new ways out of the tradition. Especially the achievements of Andrés Linetzky as a composer are outstanding; he has developed an elaborate kind of music out of the melodies of his native soul with an emotional depth that is incomparable. Apart from compositions of his own, his arrangements of famous pieces fascinate by great tension. The orchestra will be
accompanied by Esteban Riera, a young singer whose romantic tenor is impressive.
