"Mens Fitness Mag INTERVIEW w/Tiff"

"It's inevitable. If you're a rock band that's fronted by a sexy female - comparisons to No Doubt and Blondie are par for the course. Enter Valeze, the New York based punk rock group with the stunning Tiffany Randol on the lead vocals. MF caught up with Ms. Randol, and found out exactly what makes her tick." Interview: http://www.mensfitness.com/rock_band_valeze/exclusives/156 - Mens Fitness Magazine

"Dirty Rock n Roll"

"Valeze plays up the dirty rock & roll card pretty well, with sass mouth vocals and the sweat stains to match."

- Buzzgrinder.com

"Go, Go, Go!"

"Go, Go, Go! which combines Clash-style riffs with Dale Bozio vocals." - Brooklyn Rocks

"The Deli Magazine: Top 10 NYC bands '06"

Deli Magazine voted VALEZE #6 in the pool of NYC Bands for 2006! "Valeze hits the ground running with wailing guitars, catchy lyrics, and a fast-paced beat. They are led by Tiffany Randol, a girl with vocal chords so powerful they come with their own surgeon's general warning." - The Deli Magazine

"Village Voice: Dance Punk Revivalists"

Valeze, dance-punk revivalists fronted by a sassy female, have a song about a trashy girl who lives on Bedford. - The Village Voice (NYC)

"New York Press: Valeze will take you right back to Studio 54."

Valeze has got their feet firmly planted in Blondie’s footsteps. Fronted by classically-trained Tiffany Randol, this band (with their frenetic breakdowns and breathy vocals) will take you right back to Studio 54. - New York Press

"Spunkiest Frontwoman"

“The spunkiest frontwoman this side of Stefani”! - Village Voice

Bio

Rocking the dirtiest clubs on the East Coast... Crawling the avenues of New York City when the lights go down... Stalking future fans in naughty chat rooms on the web... Ruthlessly leaving their mark on as many objects - and people - as possible, you’ll find VALEZE everywhere from the breast of your local bartender to the lonely lamppost on your street corner.

Respected for their DIY attitude and hard work, Valeze self-released their EP “Go Go Go!” produced by Nic Hard (Bravery, Aberdeen City, The Church) last December and their “Go Go Go” video has had well over 100,000 views online. They’ve performed on Fox TV’s Fearless Music, the prestigious GBH party at Hiro Ballroom, independently toured the Northeast, West Coast, and Canada; shared the stage with bands like the Samples, American Minor, Diamond Nights, and the Redwalls; and have been sponsored by Eventide, Sam Ash, Garnier Fructis, and Amp Energy/Mountain Dew.

June brings some exciting events with a live performance on Good Day NY and an editorial feature in Zoo Magazine’s June music issue. For the summer, the band is primarily focusing on writing and pre-production for their next record and having way too much fun!

Questions you love to ask:
Who are the band members and what’s the background?
Lead singer/songwriter Tiffany Randol, guitarist Alan Brent, bassist Joe Hung, keyboardist Tim Grace, and Miles Kennedy on the drums. It took a three and a half years of recording, touring and auditioning to arrive at the current lineup and the band has now been a unit for two and a half years.

Where’s the name come from?
Valeze comes from “Valise” en français and represents the word: Baggage.

Who are our influences?
They are wide spread, but a few favorites are Missing Persons, Pretenders, Blondie, the Clash, the Sex Pistols, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin and 50’s pop across the board.

What is this Circus thing?
Go to www.circustheparty.com — it’s an underground party Tiff created a while back to get into some trouble (NYC was asking for it;). Basically, Circus combines a variety of artists and music with a sexy, wild and chaotic little scene. It’s down n dirty fun. Go go go.
