VALL – is a charismatic London based Alternative ROCK/SOUL singer & songwriter who initially travelled to London (from ‘Up North’) several years ago in search of work and by a strange twist of fate fell head first into music.
In ‘her laid back acoustic zone she is a performer who steps proudly into the footsteps of velvet toned soul/folksters such as Joan Armatrading & Tracy Chapman while full tilt she exudes the energy and stage presence of a young Tina - with a tinge of the White Duke, a splash of Jagger meets Beverley Knight and a hint of Skin - passionate, yet edgy, raw yet polished’.

A ‘visually engaging’ artist with a highly visible love and passion for live performance combined with a natural affinity towards her audience, few would have believed that for several years both on and off stage she had been battling with the life altering and debilitating illness Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (commonly known as M.E or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome – artist Seal - film producer Lord David Putnam - author Laura Hillebrand (Seabiscuit) - Olympiad Dame Kelly Holmes...).

Now fully recovered – a 10 day trek in Peru at altitude at the end of 2008 officially confirmed it - like a school girl with a Quality Street toffee overload, Vall is excitedly back on track.

Along with her exceptional 6 piece band she has performed showcases & festivals in UK & France; twice supported UK delta blues/rock legends (composer/performers of The Sopranos theme tune) Alabama 3, been billed alongside Honey Ryder; was ‘Runner Up’ in the internationally contested UK Songwriting Contest (UKSC 2010/11) and performed at the 1st ‘BASCA/PRS UK Songwriting Festival.

Co-produced with Enrico Pinna (mixed, engineered) and mastered by producer Pat Collier (Primal Scream, New Model Army, Maximo Park, The Soup Dragons, Katrina & The Waves), Vall’s debut album ‘Smiling in My Living Room’ is now available on iTunes worldwide.

Following a successful album launch @ Proud Camden on Mon July 4th 2011 - a UK tour is being scheduled for autumn.

Tracks from the album are akready receiving extensive FM, digital & internet radio play across the US, Canada, Europe (UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany) and now in certain parts of Australia.
