Valley Jumpers

Exactly how a classically trained percussionist ,the youngest son of a large musical family with a beatlemaniac of a father, and a Californian child of a poet who grew up on the road, met, let alone formed a band,is beyond comprehension for these three distinct & unique personalities. Meeting after seeing eachother play in many different rival local bands over the years, the valley Jumpers( a name which is rumored to come from a term & birthplace of Brittin is an homage to california kids from the valley who managed to outgrow the pretense of their bubble/town;That or mountain diving squirrel suit adrenaline junkies) were not carefully crafted,but rather like their chances of meeting, just happened & worked. Living close together,& having been in bands with genre's ranging from powerpop,to Jazz quintet's to Reggae,& math rock,their influences are wide; from jazz greats,to chillwave,high filtered & melodic reverb goodness twisted with hint's of classic rock,frusciantesqe guitar,bold bass,colorful synth's,vintage organs & falsetto, here's a band that wants to put on a performance, make you dance,get high get laid, then contemplate the universe naked after the throws of passion.
