Valor Bound started in Boone, NC when they were students at Appalachian State. The band started off under the name The Influence and went on to come in 2nd place in The Zippo Hot Tour Battle of the Bands in 2006. (First place went on tour with Papa Roach.) After some time playing and some copywriting issues, the band was forced to change it's name to Valor Bound. It basically means "with honor." Under this new name, VB released their debut album in the spring of 2007 and since that time has sold their first 1000 copies and has played all over North and South Carolina as well as Virginia and Georgia. The band continues to play in music clubs as well as bars all around the region with National Acts such as The Pat McGee Band and Simple Plan. Keep your eyes out for the up and coming sophmore album!
