All members of Van Buren & Wells are under the age of 17, but we guarantee that you wouldn't assume that after a first listen. With a screaming sax duo, blazing fast guitar licks, and drum beats that make you clap your hands and stomp your feet, Van Buren & Wells has a distinguished sound from most blues bands today. The band draws from many artist including The Allman Brothers Band, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayall & The Blues Breakers, Eric Clapton, Derek Trucks, B.B. King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Jr. Wells, Muddy Waters, etc. keeping the blues alive with their own twist. These hand picked musicians excel with their instruments. Several members in the band have received IHSA Music awards for outstanding musicianship. Van Buren & Wells is truly something to be heard and seen.
