Psyncus Project

Chris Van der Essen is a composer and performer who uses drum machines, samplers, synthesizers, effect processors, and custom built equipment.
His performances are built on a foundation of electronic beats ranging from a uptempo 4 on the floor to downtempo break beats supporting deep bass lines, uplifting melodies, thought provoking samples framed by analogue noises.
Hie lives in upstate NY and works as a audio engineer and stage manager as well as a community volunteer.
