Premiyum Entertertainment will release "Vanessa," singer Vanessa Norwood's self titled debut in late October, 2005. It will be the indie label's first major CD release. The album will cover R&B tracks along with today's hip hop flavor. Ms. Norwood is a former member of Saginaw's gospel group "RIZEN." After spending a few years with them, she decided to go out on her own, working on an R&B CD.
"My album is fact, "says the lady songstress of Premiyum Entertainment. "Most of the album is written from true life experiences, both personal and from others' lives. I think there is something every woman and man can relate to."
As reviewed by Anif, CEO and Producer "Vanessa is one of the new soultry talents to come out of the NCG camp. She's got a sweet and soulty voice that flow on par with the melodies. With a fusion of classic Jazz and R&B that she brings, Vanessa is bound to capture the hearts of fans. The premiyum crew is back at it again!" - Jazz News (blues)
