Various Seagulls

Various Seagulls is a three piece band out of Connecticut. The three members (Ben, Al, and Brian) have been close friends ever since elementary school and have a tangible bond that carries over into their music. Although their musical tastes and history vary, they seem to achieve a unifying sound forming from their mutual interests. They pride themselves on that sound, even as it may change from song to song. From blistering, riff rock like "Never See the Mornin'" to introspective, alternative territory like "Streets Are Made of Science" to swinging, upbeat fare like "Sunday" the one common goal is to get the audience moving and grooving. Evident at any of their shows, these guys want to have a good time and carry that into their stage presence. They have fun, plain and simple.

Influences include The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Blink 182, My Morning Jacket, Talking Heads, The Strokes, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Dave Matthews Band, The Killers, Harry Nilsson, and many many more.
