Michael A. Normant (M.A.N) also known as V.A The M.A.N is an American songwriter & performer. Born and raised in Virginia, where he spent all of his childhood up until his mid teenage years. After the tragic loss of his brother, at the age of 16, he moved to Northern California and has been there ever since; soaking up game and letting it all hang out through his music. Northern California is also where he decided to add the "V.A" for Virginia, to his name. When listening to V.A’s music you can hear the passion and the knowledge he has obtained through experience over the years. You can clearly hear his talent and witness his ability to be a versatile artist. His name itself shows that he creative but also true to himself in every aspect!
V.A simply has no limits. He’s able to go bar for bar with the best of them and has songwriting skills that are unmatched! Whether you want pure raw Hip-hop full with intricate lyrics, or you want something that is an easy listen, smooth and easily digestible. You can find it all throughout V.A The M.A.N’s catalog without digging too far! Representing hard for the cannabis smokers, you can hear the effects of long term smoking in V.A’s voice which makes for a pleasant listen. The fact that he is based out of Northern California also allows V.A to give us insight on the marijuana culture that many other artists cannot, simply because they are not as experienced.
