Vaughn Matthews

i am Vaughn Matthews. From the central coast of new south wales but i spend all of my time in newcastle or melbourne absorbing the culture and arts. As far as influences go there are so many and it is hard to mention them all, however some of my main ones are City and Colour, The War On Drugs, Josh Pyke, Jeff Buckley, Tallest Man On Earth and so much more.. If i had to say what set me apart from other artists i would say that i have a vast array of influences and experiences with different types of music, also i try to make my music as honest as possible. I have played guitar for around 16 year and played bass guitar in bands supporting some very well known artists, as a result my own songs got left behind for a long time and now i have the chance to do what i love most. Writing my own music. I want to have the chance to let people from everywhere hear what i write.
