Vax Lavala

Vax Lavala plays Rock and (especially) Roll with some mambo, jazz, and magic thrown in. We were brought together by outerspace pioneer and musical visionary extraordinaire Vax Lavala (for whom the band is named.) As a group we strive to create music that is new and exciting. Something that has never been heard before and will change the world. Some say this goal is a little lofty for a couple of kids that aren't out of highschool yet, but we'll see. The band members are all extremely immature, with the only serious point in their lives being music. We are known for our exciting, explosive, and sweet live shows, musicianship, and songwriting talent. Although Vax Lavala is newly formed (February '06), members of the band have been playing together for over two years. Influenced by bands like Led Zepplin, Rush, Yes, The Clash, The Mars Volta, but mostly just Adam's (songwriter) subconcience, and Vax. We are the winners of RAWK Final Four 2006, the biggest battle of the bands in the Inland Northwest. At this competition (In February) we won the audience and judging awards for best band.
