VELCRO, Portland Oregons most dynamic indie rock quintet, consists of young but seasoned veterans of the local rock scene. Currently promoting their debut self-released, self-produced, and self-recorded LP, the band's unique yet accessible sound is attributed to great songwriting and remarkable musicianship.
VELCRO'S sound gives a nod to indie rock powerhouses such as Spoon and the Unicorns while retaining a tongue-in-cheek romantic commentary and musical originality all its own. Fronted by songwriter Adam Sanchez (vocals/guitar), who is supported by Ggavin Duffy (guitar), Andrew Stern (bass), Molly Oakes (keyboards/percussion), and Dave Hires (Drums), VELCRO catchy sonic assault and energetic stage show is bound to get even the most jaded scenester's toes a-tappin'.
