Velvet Noise

Building a musical personality can be hard in a world where everything is so easily categorized as pop music. Nonetheless, Velvet Noise stands out of the crowd with its rock flavoured music and its creativity that gives to each of their song a distinct and unique vibe.

Following the current indie-rock trend, the Montreal based trio likes to add an electronic touch to its music, recalling the universe of The Kills, to which blends melancholic melodies and atmospheres which are reminiscent of British bands such as Snow Patrol.

Travelling throughout Quebec, Ontario and the United States to promote its music, Velvet Noise is also working on new material and is focusing on the release of its EP in September 2015. Being in the creative process doesn’t keep the three musicians away from the stage since it’s in a live context that the band is at its top and its with the energy of the crowd that their music becomes alive.
