From Clint McBay - Director of A & R
There is a great flow of rythym to these tracks that works well with the slightly hushed vocal tones, and the mix of acoustic guitars and airy keyboard swells. Both the electric and acoustic guitars bring a huge support for the rythym section by offering the strumming consistently throughout these arrangements. Lyrical hooks stick easily to the mind and ears of the listeners, and the narrator does a good job of using both words and an emotional tone to bring in a a clear understanding of the lead character. - Taxi Music Services

I wish more groups would return to the melodic 80's type sounds.

Bio
VELVETEEN ROBOT Formed in the Summer of 2006 when Frank Handy responded to an ad placed by Kirk Nebel, and a few weeks later Vince Milanov joined up. After a brief line up change, Dan DeSantis came in on bass. Known for an explosive live show the music is reminiscent of 80s New Wave meeting 90s alt rock with strong emphasis on vocal harmonies and memorable hooks. Kirk Nebel, a veteran of Portland and Los Angeles music scenes has had songs cut for major TV ads including Victorias Secret. Frank Handy has enjoyed success with the R&B group Feramoan, Vince Milanov comes from Bulgaria where he had a hit with his previous group Millienum. Their song For Always spent 8+ weeks at the NO.1 spot on the European Billboard charts. Dan DeSantis received heavy radioplay in his native town of Pittsburgh with his original rockband "The Deviant Minds."
