VENcE brings rise to a remarkable atmosphere with her music It is intense and brave, sometimes even aggressive. The violin and cello lure you into daydreams, while the guitar and percussion pound to keep you alert. In the midst of this spectrum floats an accordion and sometimes a piano, and every now and then a low voice speaks to you, next to the vocals.
The lyrics, written by the singer, may give you some clue's but it's up to you to solve the riddle!
The interplay in the band is remarkable. Every instrument serves the greater whole without being lost in it. To give a label to VENcE's music is difficult. The band prefers you just to listen to - instead of trying to name - the music, but perhaps alternative popfolkrock would come close.
