Vengeance Through Annihilation

Vengeance Through Annihilation is a metal band based out of Oshawa, Ontario. We are heavily influenced by thrash and early death metal, while also containing vocal elements of power metal. VTA was formed in April of 2006 by Vocalist/Guitarist Jason Craig and Guitarist Garrison Thordarson, with each of them looking to enter new musical ventures. After jamming on and off, the two started to write original material and jam on a regular basis. Needing a bassist, Kevin Wood was added to the fold. The band searched for a permanent drummer but was unsuccessful, so Tyler Mercer of Atomicy was added as a part time drummer. The band played their first show with that lineup in November of 2006. Fortunately in January of 2007, Mike Aguanno was found to play drums fulltime and complete the bands lineup. Vengeance Through Annihilation has recently recorded their first EP, “Morbid Crusade”. We have also been forced to part ways with Kevin Wood. With the bass position null and void, Morgan Rider (Ex-Atomicy, Mastery) was asked to fill the position temporarily. Vengeance Through Annihilation proceed to eradicate the senses of those who witness their destructive, energetic live performance.
