Venus 6 is a new band out of LA's east Hollywood
Silverlake area fronted by beautiful guitarist/songwriter Joan Sceline. A very accomplished guitar
player and unique song writer, Joan has dedicated herself to writing and performing cutting edge, pop
infected rock music. Stylish and beautiful she takes
Venus 6 to the next level with captivating live shows,
mixing raw power with grace and beauty. Her influences include: Nirvana, Garbage, Joan Jett and L7 among others. The Venus 6 Self titled debut record was well received by college radio getting airplay on over 100 stations. Venus 6 is ready to take off with their second record, "Pink Destruction",
produced by John X. The music comes to life
with fever pitch guitars, sonic drven riffs, catchy
choruses and melodic hooks. Joan weaves her magic
with her guitar, luring the listener, luring the listener
through dreamy songs: "Electric light and Killshot"
and then rocks out on the cutting edge with rockers:
"Pink Destruction" and "Unholy". The live band includes top notch musicians Roy Felig on bass, Matt
Mcolleran on guitar and Grimm on drums. Together
this unit gives rock audiences everywhere what
they have been craving, great songs an electrifying
rock show and a beautiful guitar goddess to lead the
way.
