Bio

Vera started in June of 2007 under the name of "The Selfless" with Scott on Bass, Hristo on Guitar, and Ryan on Drums. They found their first vocalist, Glen, a little while after a couple practices. He was quickly replaced by the soon to be permanent vocalist Bryan. Vera would soon pick up their second guitarist, Nick, in September of 2007. "The Selfless" then changed their name to "The Max Weinburg Murder Confession". That name would not stick long. The name quickly changed to their permanent name Vera. After the name change, Vera hit the studio and released their first demo titled "The Red Giant". This demo had many different elements of Hardcore and Metalcore tied into it with deep lyrics of space and the human race. Just when Vera thought they had their permanent line up they introduced their newest member, Matt (Piano / Synth) in December of 2007. With Matt in the band their sound quickly changed from a brutal Metalcore to a more melodic hardcore. A new sound that would stick with the band. After deciding on a tour original member Ryan decided he wanted to leave the band for personal reasons. Vera would quickly pick up their new drummer David (Deejay). After the joining of David, Vera would re-write old songs and write 4 new ones. With these new songs and final line up Vera released their debt EP "HUMANITIES" in April of 2008. Over the months Vera has also gained several sponsors and endorsements such as: Black Sea Apparel, JD Heart Clothing, Captive Clothing, MS Design, The Reliance Agency, DJQ Management, Valiant Clothing, E & M Productions, and Shine Drums. The band has now found their permanent line up and sound with influences ranging from For The Fallen Dreams, It Prevails, Misery Signals, and Farewell To Freeway. This band plans to do big things with their music and stop at nothing to be heard.

Vera has shared the stage with such bands as:
