I have been rapping for over 10 years. The last 3 years I have released 3 CDs and my music has been downloaded over 950 times!!!! I have a grown approach to rap, I speak about being a player, in relationships, a little gun play, clubs and other things we do around the D.C. area. My influences start wit' Rakim, the greatest lyricist of all time. I, also, am influenced by Biggie, Jay-Z, Scarface, Ice Cube, Outkast, to name a few. I like the youth in the rap movement also, Kanye West, T.I., 50 Cent. But what sets me apart is that my rap's real, no one will ever question my authenticity in the game because many can vouch for Kent's street cred. And that will bring me longevity in the game. As you listen, you can see that I have matured in my production over the years. My latest work "Just Blowing Smoke" is so lyrically and musically gifted. It's an independent artist's masterpiece. I did a lot of sampling from various sounds (West Coast, Durrty South, NY, East Coast) and it's reflected on this album. 13 tracks of hype, lyrical and diverse music. Various tempos and styles to satisfy every hip-hop ear.
