Vern Crouch, Jr.

I performed in a country band for about 5 years, from 2000 to 2005. I started writing in my teens, mostly with relationship type themes. My vocal influences include Styx, Journey, Foreigner, and Def Leppard. My writing influences include a broad range within the country genre: Restless Heart, Little Texas, Merle Haggard, and George Strait. I like to write songs with a story element, but try to incorporate a memorable hook. I also work very hard to make each song unique: speed, timing, rhyming patterns, arrangement, etc.
