Biography

I am available for any event you might have in mind so contact me if your interested...

My 7th. grade math teacher, George Downing, taught me to play the guitar. My 10th. grade Choir teacher, Russel Hillock taught me how to sing, then kicked me out of High School, my next high school music teacher, Joseph Eslie, taught me how to perform and put me in my first folk group "The Sawmill Four". USO gave me my first real "on the road experience"...92 shows in 81 days for 44,000 men and women of the armed forces in 9 countries of the Orient during the Vietnam War in1966 and again in 1968 with "Jamboree".

Reuben's Restaurant in Scottsdale gave me my first Lounge gig.

In 1970, I was introduced to Jesus Christ who died for my sins and gave me eternal life. I was compelled to sing about Him for the next 6 or 7 years and now I wish I had just kept singing folk music...but hind site is a waste of time.....

Karen Mahoney gave me two son's and my only divorce...

Now I am 60, performing better than I ever , clean from a life of drug addiction, and hopefully headed down the stretch for the finish line.

This month I will do 45+ house concerts from Ft. Collins to Castle Rock Colorado, for several hundred old folks.

I still have visions of grandeurs, thinking I'd like to hit the road again and sing in clubs around the country, and get rich and famous....but...reality is, I am a great entertainer...and for sure, old folks like me, and it seems like everyone who hears me sing, likes my voice and my style...so I am working on publishing my songs and the songs of friends of mine, hoping some young and restless musicians will use the music and make us rich!!!

I have two projects in production now...
"The Myrne And Verne, Travelin' Turn Or Burn Band" CD featuring the music of Myrne Breckenridge...and

"Marryin' and Buryin", A CD and Videos of all the songs I have written for friends weddings and funerals...

FITMISFISTS PUBLISHING COMPANY, my music, art, literature and video/movie publishing company is currently building our catalog...and getting really close to hopefully placing some songs....

To Be Bound Together As One

Written By: Verne T. Bullock

To be bound together as one, In the presence of the Son
Who gave us love and life to share, throughout eternity.
And to give my life to you, with the love to see us through,
Is why I've chosen on this day of joy, to give my heart to you.

And I will never loose the love, that each day has reason to grow.
Take my hand, now walk with me, I really love you so.

To be bound together as one, in the presence of the Son,
Who gave us love and life to share, throughout eternity.
And to give my life to you, with the love to see us through,
Is why I've chosen on this day of joy, to give my heart to you.

And we will never lose the love, that each day has reason to grow.
Take my hand, now walk with me, I really love you so.

As we walk this road of life, finally bound as man and wife,
For the years to come, and years to go, together we will sail.
Never fearing what may come, only growing to be one,
living for each others hopes and dreams,
in faith we cannot fail..

And we will never loose the love that each day has reason to grow,
Take my hand, now walk with me, I really love you so...
I love you so....

(To be bound together as one, in the presence of the Son)

I Love You, I Do

Written By: Verne T. Bullock

I Love You, I Do...

Can it be? Is it real? I'm talkin' bout the way I feel,
Here you are so close to me,
We're in love and we are free.
But before this moment passes, slips and fades away,
Put your arms around me, Listen, while I say forever,
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you,
I love you, I do.

I think about the times we've known, tried to make this house a home.
There were good and there were bad,
I know sometimes I make you sad.
But before this moment passes, slips and fades away,
Put your arms around me, Listen, while I say forever,
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you,
I love you, I Do.

Here we are a sunny day, laughing while the children play.
Walking thru a sunny breeze,
Making love beneath the trees.
Goodness all around us, sonshine all the way,
Now that love has found us, Let me hear you say forever,
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you,
I love you, I Do

I love you, I love you, I love you,
I love you, I Do,
Oh, I'm so in love,
Yes, I'm so in love, with you.
