Along Your Journey is the much anticipated CD release from acclaimed Cincinnati-based singer and songwriter, Veronica J. Dubbed a ‘Hidden Treasure’ in the inspirational jazz arena, her incomparable vocal style is best described as rich, sultry, and overflowing. Ms. J’s flexible vocal range flows freely and effortlessly from bass to soprano. Throughout the album she sings both lead and background vocals. The album was co-produced by the brilliant and highly regarded producer and keyboardist, Philip 'Jazz Bear' Baker. Mixed and mastered to perfection by Bill Gwyenne (Group Effort Sound Studios, Erlanger, KY), the album features edgy phenomenal string licks by guitarist Mark Williams.

Seven rich and sultry-jazz melodic tracks, all written by Veronica J, take listeners on a smooth encouraging ride that captivates the mind, ministers to the soul, and soothes the spirit. Songs like “You're Worthy” and “Well Done” stir the spirit. The lyrics are inspiring and thought provoking. Jazz-driven melodies and meticulous instrumentations are heard throughout. Ms. J’s compositions range from sweet melodies to the powerful jazz arrangement heard on track seven, “Life Must Live.” She explores and expands, jazzin' it up here and there, scanting eloquently and smoothly.

Ms. J. interprets the title song, “Along Your Journey,” as a ‘sultry and smooth jazz composition that speaks of trusting God and being true to oneself along life's soul journey’.

Veronica J began her singing and writing career in 1999. She is the Writer, Artist and Producer for Dove Note Music. She recently celebrated, seventeen years of marriage to her Man of God, William P - percussionist and drummer. Ms. J fellowships at Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship in Cincinnati, Oh., under the leadership of Bishop Michael E. Dantley and Co-Pastor Carol Dantley. It is through her union with Christ that her lyrics and music are birthed and breathed forth. She is also the CEO and Graphic Designer for Dove Note Graphic & Designs. Her message is one of God's love and faithfulness.
