Veronika Vesper has recently qualified to the area finals of Open Mic UK, beating thousands of other acts from across the country, and is now one step away from a place in the finals which will take place at the 02 Arena, and can only have 2 finalists!



Veronika is proving to be one of the hottest acts in the competition, with almost 10,000 views on her last audition video after just one week of being uploaded on Muzu TV.

“The Vesper star has come down to Earth to spread her radiant light and to show to us, the creatures living here, that there is a perfect star in the heart of each of us. Where does she come from? Who knows? Maybe the scientists have the precise GPS position of her origin, but she doesn’t know and she cares not.

All that really matters is what she brings with her – clouds of atmosphere, ambient beams, floating, alternative, electric fluid, electronic, electromagnetic music with symphonic overtones and rhythmic textures, along with a haunting voice that caresses all senses, creating an eclectic mix of intergalactic stardust.

With an eye to devise a mind blowing live performance, Vesper’s power lies in creating a visual atmospheric space, inspired by music and fashion in unison. Veronika has recently qualified to the London regional finals of Open Mic UK, an exciting national talent competition which searches for the UK’s best singers, singer/songwriters, rappers and vocalists of all genres who perform either covers or original material. Chris Grayston, head of A&R at Future Music, comments “We are searching for an act that not only has the live ability to impress an audience, industry judges and A&R associates, but an act that has the potential to become a professional recording artist. The standard was high last year and this year looks set to be even better.”

Introducing: Veronika Vesper

Why would I be writing about someone you have not have heard of before? Because I want to, and because this is a great way to introduce a new act to you…
Meet Veronika Vesper, she is an electro/pop artist who has qualified to the area finals of Open Mic UK, beating thousands of other acts from across the country, and is now one step away from a place in the finals which will take place at the O2 Arena (An impressive feat in itself).
In the vein of a certain Lady GaGa, Veronika Vesper has a very catchy sound, and if the mini press release we received is anything to go by, then she is going to be an interesting one to watch and listen to. I am not even sure I can use the word “quirky” to describe her. Read below and make your own mind up:

Veronika Vesper's 'Let Me Be Your Superstar' is a futuristic bubble of techno waves and pop fever!

This is Goldfrapp meets Marina and The Diamonds mixed with the Green Children's dance structure. Veronika's vocals really transform this track into something special with her soft yet gritty tones.

'Let Me Be Your Superstar' is a great track that should appeal to most. A definite hit for me!
