From being born as Evan Jones in Columbia SC, to moving to Houston, TX at a young age and then back and forth from St. Louis MO, Bowling Green KY, Dallas TX, and several other cities in South Carolina his whole life, a G ain't really got no other choice but to be "Versatile" ya dig? He's that nigga that actually lived the life that most so called "Hardcore" rappers only talk about, from selling drugs, gangbangin, getting shot at and stabbed, spending years in jail and years on probation from alleged 1st degree robbery and weapons assault charges, losing loved ones like his father and best friend, and being a "Single Father" just trying to put food in his daughters mouth through hustling, working 9-5's and doing tattoos. He feels that anyone that plans on succeeding in this life, industry or any other "Hustle" for that matter has to be Versatile in order to survive. Versatile has been creating music consistently for over a decade now and has been featured on several well known Dj's mixtapes from Dj Green Lantern, Dj Gem Starr, DJ Smoke of Coast 2 Coast mixtapes, etc.. and has also opened up for acts such as the Young Bloods, Nappy Roots, and Yo Gotti. He currently owns and operates a retail store called "Stylez X" located at 516b South Lafayette dr. Sumter, SC where his album and his group "The Neighborhood Hustlaz" albums are available for purchase along with a slew of other merchandise from clothing, adult movies, gold jewelry, pocket books, shoes, body oil, you name it.
