Bio

Versioni proibite is a 2009-10 project aimed at finding an innovative sound in the International Rock scene this new millennium. Beginning with five different music tastes that the members of the band mingle together, VP reinvent their own version rock by skilfully touching funk atmospheres and grunge rock influences, which have given inspiration for many years. The sound shows different ingredients such as rough /velvety voice, irresistible beat and intriguing guitar solos, together with the constant sound experimentation and moments of meditation. It is a rich mix that will satisfy a variety of audiences: whoever is in search of rock groove and those that want to find inspiration from open harmonic variations.

Versioni Proibite?... They are the songs, each of which is a universe on its own. It is a unique confession between the authors and music of personal and social situations, sometimes so difficult to explain without verses and sound. The lyrics allow for a subjective interpretation, in order to link the "versions" of the band with the listener's personal experience, desires, dreams and claims that are so often invisible, not stated, "banned" to other people.

Today the world needs more freedom, a broader mind. Young people need to get a better knowledge of the difficult system they live in. Banned Versions is a synonym of freedom of communication, that the band expresses at its best during the live performances, always so different, exciting and meaningful. A great cocktail of music, rhythm and rock.

Don't let time pass you by, don't let yourself be labelled as another "X generation". Let's build our future and the future of art together, constantly re-inventing each other without being afraid of stating it publicly, whether on the stage or not.
