Vertigo Lounge has set out to bring rock 'n roll music back to the forefront of the masses. With catchy melodic hooks intertwining tube drivin' guitar and pounding basslines, Vertigo Lounge has simply created a uniquely satisfying, hard rockin' sound all their own!

Biography

Originally from Atlanta, Ga, the hard rock band Vertigo Lounge, set out west in hopes of breaking through the massive California rock ‘n roll scene. The band was formed by 3 best friends from high school; Billy Kohan, Ryan Hammond, and Eric Beaman in the Summer of 1999. Although the band wasn’t complete at the time, Vertigo Lounge began writing and rehearsing as a trio until Tony Panzarella filled the drumming spot in the summer of the following year.

Over the next few years, Vertigo Lounge had established nationwide exposure due to word of mouth promoting from fans, a countless number of live performances, 2 EPs, and an abundant amount of live recordings. The hard rockin’ quartet seemed to be well on their way to up and coming success until the Fall of 2003 when drummer, Tony Panzarella graciously parted ways with Vertigo Lounge to pursue other interests. The band tried to replace Tony quite a few times, but never truly captured the Vertigo Lounge chemistry that the previous four had worked so hard to establish over the years until a drummer by the name of Matt Westfall from Huntington Beach, Ca accepted the drumming position, and joined the band in early spring of 2005.

Vertigo Lounge have scratched the surface in true Rock ‘N Roll fashion. With the combining efforts of Billy Kohan’s tube drivin’ guitar, along with Eric Beaman’s catchy hooks, and insatiable ear for melody, the collaborative writing efforts between the two have evolved into an eclectic mix of hard rock, southern rock, classic rock, blues, and alternative. Vertigo Lounge have always been avid supporters of the local music scene since their breakthrough, and have networked with a countless number of local and independently signed bands over the years. This is one of the primary reasons that Vertigo Lounge has had such a loyal and supportive fan base over the past 6 years. The band is currently located in Huntington Beach, Ca, and is now in the process of recording a full-length album set for release later this summer.

Lyrics

Undivided

Written By: Eric Beaman

Undivided (Music-B.Kohan, Lyrics-E.Beaman)

No one knows when cold wind blows. Undivided.
No one feels when cold chills spills. Undivided.

[chorus]
Save me, crave me, again
Save me, crave me, don't fade me

So we've stated there that bad times come
Don't stop to look around at the infinite choices
Span of attention falls short by voices
Seen in the stars mounted far away, forget our sorrows, leave today

[chorus]

Fall back into what you consider reality
Don't stop to look around at the infinite choices
Span of attention falls short by voices
Seen in the stars mounted far away, forget our sorrows, leave today

[chorus x2]

Maybe one day you'll open a heart ...

Do The Math

Written By: Eric Beaman, Billy Kohan

Do The Math (Music-B.Kohan, Lyrics-E.Beaman, B.Kohan)

[chorus]
You've reached the list, you're on the bottom of that
Seperate ways, turning different paths
Away in shoulder dust, and just like that
In my life your lower class

Bleach soaked the desert land
Blinding the path of the vision, man
On with his handed plan
Shed his skin to the dying man
When there upon the first sign of horizon
Comes to kill night
There we'll seek our new life
In the darkest span of the atmosphere

A crystal journey, In a hurry
Makes the sound of children worry
C'mon come along hate anger all aside
Maybe you'll see your not the only one for me
You may think love is free, accept no immitation

[chorus]
You've reached the list, you're on the bottom of that
Our ways, will never cross paths
away in dust, and just like that
I've turned my back so Do The Math
