Bio

Born in South Eastern Pennsylvania, Jenna Sariano (maiden name) was immersed in music at a very early age. Eager to perform at any occasion, she always knew she would make music her career. With many childhood influences, such as Whitney Houston and Billy Joel, she set out to pursue her dreams as a vocalist.

Taking private piano lessons from age six through high school, she had many opportunities to perform. By age eleven Jenna’s parents started her with voice lessons, and she also started playing the flute, trumpet, and guitar. Under the direction of many great vocal teachers, she honed her chops and became versed in many styles such as: Musical theater, Classical, R&B, Folk-Rock, Alternative, Blues, Jazz, and Gospel. She didn’t hesitate getting up on stage. Jenna began performing frequently, even in high school. In her senior year Jenna was accepted into the Harrisburg Arts Magnet School, learning in depth the art of musical theater. By the time she graduated, she had already basked in the spotlight in restaurants, musical theater productions, concerts, and choir tours.

After graduation, Jenna was accepted into Berklee College of Music, and attended the famous contemporary music school in Boston for four years. With a double major in Performance & Songwriting, she had ample opportunity to gain expert knowledge of her craft as a vocalist and a songwriter. It was in Boston where Jenna was able to learn her unique ability to capture and care for an audience, while sitting under the teaching of the great Folk artist Livingston Taylor. As a songwriter, she was able to learn from many of the best in the industry. Jenna studied the art of lyric writing from Pat Pattison, author of Writing Better Lyrics and frequently recorded Nashville songwriter. Melody and jingle writing techniques were developed under the careful direction of John Aldrich, a very well know industry writer.

It was in Boston where Jenna was able to gain valuable experience on the stage and in the recording studio, performing regularly in the recital halls as a leader and guest vocalist, and recording in the Berklee studio’s. At Berklee she also met her husband to be, Sean-David McGoran. Shortly after graduating, she moved to the Seattle area with her new husband, and it was here that they began their new career. Recording their debut CD"180 Degrees", Jenna and Sean-David created a new voice in music as Vessel.

Jenna now resides in Fort Smith, Arkansas where she teaches, writes, records, and performs.
