The band met in Cambridge in 2009 but have just had a successful year in Reading, which included appearances on BBC radio and numerous local gigs, including headlining for BBC Introducing live at Reading's ever popular Oakford Social Club.
Vetoes have just recorded their debut EP 'Ritalin/Ritalout' with multi-platinum selling producer Adam Whittaker (Doves/Saw Doctors/Hot Club de Paris). The band launched the EP on 7th February, playing to a packed out crowd at The Social in central London with support from some of the best of the London underground (O.Children, Islington Boys' Club, Boy Mandeville).
Now splitting their time between Reading and London, Vetoes will be putting all their energy into gigging, writing new material and showing that, even in 2011, guitar bands can still matter...
