Bio
During a cold December living in a martello tower Brian decided to start a band on his return to the mainland. VetoState was conceived on New Years Day when he returned a bearded man after a month sleeping rough on Ireland's Eye.
From Donaghmede in Dublin, VetoState are a 3-piece rock band with original music that crosses into several other genres from Ska to punk. With driving beats, funky basslines and dirty guitar riffs, VetoState create their own style of rock which has been described as an aural mugging. With clever, thought provoking and witty lyrics their music appeals to a wide audience.
Drummer Brian is also the bands lead singer and a energetic show man. Guitarist Niall and bass player Peat lend their vocals to the songs to create a lively and entertaining dynamic on stage.
VetoState's live performances set them apart from any other band. With more and more bands now containing 5+ members, VetoState create a full and original sound with just 3 members.
VetoState finished recording a 4-track demo to EP quality in Pulse Recording Studios in June 2007.
