Vezzi West

Although Vezzi was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA (later moved to the I.E. during high school) he claims his music has a very international sound. This makes perfect sense considering Vezzi began pursuing music professionally when he was living in Tokyo, Japan (serving in the US Air Force). While in Tokyo, Vezzi built a dedicated fan base, ran a home studio, produced for local and major artist, and performed at numerous shows. He also adds that living in Dubai, U.A.E. for 10 months, Washington DC for 2 years and his travels around the world (Germany, Thailand, Malaysia) has impacted his overall sound.

Moreover, unless it’s a mixtape track, 90% of the music he is performing on was written and produced by him. When you listen to Vezzi West, you can hear that he prides himself in the quality of work that he puts out. Vezzi West believes that every song has a purpose, deeming that there are too many artist releasing songs without them.

In 2010, Vezzi's self-produced song "Theme Song" feat. Cynsere received a placement on Coast2Coast mixtape vol. 137 hosted by Cam'ron and also Sirius satellite radio play. These two key placements geared Vezzi to hustle even harder to make his dreams come true and he did by performing continuously from July-December 2010.

From January-May of 2011, Vezzi began the recording of his first official mixtape. While balancing recording sessions, photo shoots and overall life, he has been booked for numerous shows and performed at some of Hollywoods most famous venues including: Club Arena, The Cabana Club, The Highlands, The Key Club, and The Roxy Theater.

Today Vezzi strives in making the best music possible across all genres, collaborating with talented musicians and helping other artists to reach their full potential.
