In another one of the US - UK combinations, VFX is made up of one member trained in classical music and grew up singing harmonies in a church choir and another who is a self-taught musician. They met each other through e-bay during a music transaction, met for the first time in London and have been together ever since.
Paul is a professional guitarist from the U.K. and has performed with notable artists in Sheffield. His lead style includes fast, loud and piercing runs as well as soft and subtle chord melodies. Paul's flair and technique give his guitar a voice that speaks to the listeners. With his electronics and recording skills, Paul has compiled bass and drum tracks using Pro Tools in their home studio.
Lori is from the Midwest and is currently writing lyrics and providing lead vocals while adding color to their music with the keyboard.
Their classic rock influences include well-known bands such as AC/DC, the Police, Foreigner, Def Leppard, Alex Harvey, Van Halen, and Led Zeppelin. Current artists include Shine Down and 3-Days Grace.
