"The music, although I suppose it is comparable to Sublime, has its own style. One thing that really impressed me about this band was the musicians' ability to quickly work the crowd, which is what an opener should do. After several calls beckoning the sedentary audience to come forward, they finally achieved success. The dance floor rapidly switched from a ghost town into a dance party in no time. The brief set left everyone begging for more, with a taste of what the night had in store for them. Vibenhai proved to be an extremely fun act that played their part perfectly as an opener for the night. Keep an eye out for them in the area if you want to get off your ass and groove for an evening. On a snowy New Years Eve night in 06, these reggae rockers from Nebraska had their first performance in their home town of Lincoln and refused to stop making noise on the local scene ever since, blending many different styles to create a unique sound untouched by most of today's artists. With the release of their debut album "The Feeling" in the summer of 09' the possibilities for these young cats are endless. Vibenhai's high energy live shows are sure to turn any chill crowd, young or old, into a hoppin' party. Taking influences from a wide variety of bands including Sublime, indie giants Slightly Stoopid and reggae classics like Bob Marley and UB40, these guys are sure to keep you moving and entertained all night long.
