"Vicious/Delicious – Vicious/Delicious (Independent)
Here we have another able addition to the fabled Montreal stable of jangly guitar rockandsoulabilly bands, an inspired girl and boy eight-strong ensemble who easily fall in line beside the dirty likes of The Sunday Sinners, Sexareenos, et. al.. Their tastes run the gamut from country pickings to psychedelic haze and from bluesy harmonica to organ inspirations with a real sweet desert/druggy vibe shimmering throughout. Do you dig? I sure do! (SG) 4/5" - Nightlife Montreal
The show started off with Vicious/Delicious, a local band that plays a kind of spacey retro-rock that strongly reminds me of Velvet Underground. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to be hit with such a big sound at a show that promised to be essentially folk, but I must admit that it was a nice surprise. They sounded pretty great.
...this is a band that I would recommend seeing live. They've got their act together and I think they're really quite promising.
- Voir Montreal

Bio
There was a time when you could go to the local church and catch your favorite psychedelic band, dance, do drugs and bask in the bliss of youth. Well,,,,the church has burned down, the kids are too stoned and VICIOUS/DELICIOUS are ringing in a new era of psychedelia. It's the kinda happiness that'll make you cry tears of joy. It's a soundtrack for the lost & confused with equal parts of psychedelic rock, classic rock n roll, shoegaze and folk music thrown in. After writing and producing two records in their Montreal studio, Hoodoo Recordings, V/D are bringing their psychedelic sideshow on the road. Like a femme fatale seducing it's prey, VICIOUS/DELICIOUS will seduce it's listener, make him lose control and drown in their sea of sounds. It's time to let yourself go...see you on the flipside.
