Biography

Vicki is an Acoustic singer/songwriter from Southampton. Born in 1986 amongst the overplayed vinyls of Fleetwood mac, The Who and Pink Floyd, it was in her blood from the start.

A self-confessed modern day romanticist, she wears her heart on her sleeve...and then writes about it. Touring and gigging around the UK for two years now, playing different venues and events in the UK, she has had her tracks played on local and national radio, played live-in-session sets on radio and has been featured on bbc introducing. Vicki has supported the likes of Beth Jeans Houghton, Kyla La Grange, Joshua James and Rams' Pocket Radio to name but a few. She independently released her debut EP, 'Skylines' in 2012 and is currently in the process of recording brand new material, set for release in 2013. Influenced by soul, intrigued by emotion, Vicki cites her main influences as Annie lennox, Florence & The Machine, Nina Simone, Damien Rice, Noel Gallagher and REM. Strong comparisons have been made with the great female voices of Joan Armatrading, Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks and KT Tunstall.
