Several recordings of live classical performances

Vicky Vlassis-Radulovich has recently completed her Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Education from Brock University. She also holds a Voice Degree from the Hochschule fuer Musik in Augsburg, Germany and a Performance Diploma from the Music University of Vienna, Austria. She has performed in many recitals internationally and has performed leading roles in several operatic productions with UWOpera. In November of 2007 Vicky was a Semi-Finalist in the Czech International Voice Competition.

I have sung and performed classical, operatic, and musical theater repertoire throughout my studies but recently also experimented with mainstream music. I recorded two songs outside of New York City which were produced by Tom Gioia and Andy Snitzer (Visionary Music Group). It was an exciting and wonderful learning experience although I must admit it was a little tricky. Singing in a recording studio is much different than opera! To make the bridge smoother from the classical transition I started by recording slow - medium tempo songs that are more lyrical. Both songs have inspirational lyrics and would fall under the genre of 'soft adult contemporary'. "On My Own" has more of a slower cinematic theme while "Learning How to Love" is a little more catchy. A live classical selection "Canto Negro" has also been uploaded.

I still love performing classical repertoire but also enjoy trying new styles. I am constantly trying new things and look forward to my next recording venture! Presently I also teach voice lessons for beginners to professionals and specialize in proper voice technique. I have two vocal studios in the Niagara Region, ON, Canada. I would like to thank my students for inspiring me to pursue more popular music and for always putting a smile on my face!
