Vics n Trix are two down to earth guys bringing an air of difference to the UK music scene. Through the struggle and strife of the music industry they have been able to maintain sheer focus and determination into getting recognized and respected on their path to stardom

Vics from Bermondsey, the quieter member of the duo, got the name from the word ‘VICAR’ because of his clean cut appearance and saintly behaviour. Trix from Norbury, the joker of the pack was given the name in his early teens for his playful and eccentric nature.

The pair first met at University. After completing degree courses and acclaiming post-grad status, they decided to turn their full time passion for music into a part time occupation. Initially honing their skills on radio they appeared on radio stations such as CN Soho Live. Whilst frequently guest appearing on shows including Delight FM, Horror FM and Raw FM. However it was on east London radio station Déjà Vu 92.3 FM where they found a permanent home collaborating with UK Garage Crew ‘The Conscious Collektiv.’

Despite their radio successes, Vics N Trix were determined to take their knowledge and interest in music to another level. Enter Jason Air. Air’s unique brand of production unconventionally unites diverse sounds such as drum & bass, garage, hip-hop, rock and metal into one big aural melting-pot. With a flair for the dramatic and diverse musical tastes this formed the perfect match for Vics and Trix.

Their indescribable music, performances and videos have made them the talk of the town, especially with their first promo single ‘Space Cadet’ which had people scratching their heads at first and then later finding themselves bobbing their heads to the complete vibe of the tune. Then there was ‘Good from Far’ which firstly hit a nerve with the ladies and then later had them doing the ‘Ugly Dance’ in raves!

Vics n Trix have just finished filming the video for their next single ‘Guestlist’, watch out for the download release in spring!
