Bio

Victor Frank is an artist of the past who returns to grace the airwaves of today! Driven by pain and struggle Victor Frank is here to share his testimony through beats and rhymes. He is versatile and delivers rhymes and punchlines with ease. Vic originated from Victoria TX where he started out rapping in 1998. In 2000 he began working on his his first mix tape "Sinners Chronicle" which proved to be a hit among local listeners. In 2001 Sinners Chronicle volume 2 was dropped locally and had similar success. Working on collaborations through the rest of 2002. In 2005 VIC united with J.C. of Holly-hood productions and FAME of Double U incorporated to form the hit group HPD. The trio astounded Victoria with their debut album entitled Go Grind. The album never went mainstream due to funding but was a local success. HPD was brought to a halt when band member FAME was incarcerated. Victor Frank returned to his roots, perfecting his craft behind closed doors. He was planning a huge return in 2013 with his solo album "Victory Is Mine" but his life took a turn for the worst. Victor became hooked on drugs and alcohol. Living the fast life began taking its toll. Victor Frank attempted suicide twice over the next year. No stranger to tough times though, from being incarcerated at 15 years old until his 18th birthday, His mother dying, being given away by his birth mother, being born with drugs in his system, jail, fights, being homeless and more Victor began to embrace this lifestyle rather then try to change it. He released "Breakin Up" summer of 2013. The album was a clear look into what Victor had gone through and going through. It was a dark look into the artist himself. But despite its darkness it was real. That realness made it an instant buzz catching the attention of fans, scouts and a record label. A deal was on the table, phones where blowing up and the shows were non stop! But the drugs and partying were also non stop and was Victors personal problems and family issues.

After a long night in the studio and partying Victor passed out and had a dream of his late mother telling him to go back to church. "I woke up and I knew I was supposed to give my life to God" states Victor. Victor reunited with his sons mom and attended a small church in Shiner TX giving his life to God and walking away from everything. Dedicating his life to the Lord.

Since then Victor has been sharing his testimony through music and with anyone who will listen. Now married with 4 beautiful children and one on the way Victors life is definitely on a different path. "Sure there is ups and downs, days I struggle, days my family struggles, but we get back on path and we keep fighting the good fight"

Victor is now working on his debut christian album "Victory Is His" and his mixtape "Sinners Chronicle 3".

"Music has always been my vent. If I don't feel it, I don't write it. I can't sit there and write something that has not happened or I am not feeling. Whenever you listen to one of my songs your listening to my journal. To my actual thoughts and emotions at that exact time. This is me. This is who I am. You can go back to my first song until my last and find out everything I have been through. I may not write traditional christian rap because I am not traditional. I go through so many things on this path, I have many battles, Ive been through so much, I still go through things. So I write it down and record it. Every emotion. And I hope it helps someone going through those same things".

This isn't a made up testimony this is real life. God changed me. He gave me a reason to live. He allowed me to love again. He gave me a family. A second chance. And I owe him. If you knew who I was and what I had been through. The miracles I never realized happened. All the times he saved me, the times he brought me home safely, spared my life, blessed me. Now I look back and see it. Now I understand my purpose. God is good. Glory be to God!

Victor Franks new found look on life is exactly what he needed and with God on his side I expect HUGE success. I had the chance to meet up with Vic at a local music venue in Houston. I questioned him about his return and he simply stated "Its in Gods hands". I am expecting to hear Vic's music flooding airways, at local venues, online etc here soon. I am awaiting his return.. Are you?
