"EP Review and Apollo Bay Music Festival"

Love your CD; you have an amazing voice far beyond your years. The songs are strong, catchy, with great arrangements and meaningful lyrics (Did you write the music and lyrics?) a very professional CD.
It was great to see you perform live, you did an awesome job. The festival circuits are tuff most of the people are festival goers and can be music snobs. With so much going on and the wide variety of music and venues it was great to see such a large crowd with such varying demographics, the young surfy crowd and the old gnarly festival goers (with their own fold up chairs) all there and really appreciating your performance.
Keep up the hard work it will certainly pay off for someone as talented as you.

Bio

Victoria Dunbar
Vocally gripping rare and creative.

Began entertaining audiences as a Singing Ballerina!
Now shes transitioned into an original alternative songwriter firmly establishing her place in the Melbourne music scene

Born into a performing family-She began piano at 6, and picked up the guitar at 8 and began her original songwriting journey at the tender age of 14 and now a young woman filled with original musical magic.
Her croony old school voice adds depth to songs such as “I wanna say I love you”
(featured on her EP “Fly Away”)
Victoria Dunbar bring together the resent sound of rough pop and pop reggae with a soothing, rich sound of her jazz like vocals.

In 2008 Victoria officially launched her band Fingers Crossed.
Female drummer- She's Electric!
Bass player and lead guitarist-Musically brilliant
Together they sound like Sweet Singing Pop Reggae and Fueled funk.
Victoria Dunbar and Fingers Crossed is a unique, poetic, active band full of fun and creativity

Live onstage at Apollo Bay Music Festival 2009 Victoria Dunbar had an early release of her debut EP “Fly Away”

The official launch took place at Wesley Anne in April 2009-

Quote from EP launch- “An awesome turn-out for this youngsters first CD launch, not only a talented musician but an impressive mature performer. The future shine bright for these guys.”- Sharlene Mik (Music Performance graduate)

Soon to be released -The album "Have we met?"

This forthcoming album showcases young adventures in art, growth, purpose, love, sharing and observing life around Victoria. Her lyrical entanglement lays ground for an aim of simplistic chordal expression.
For your aural pleasure her album and live show comprises of subtly over driven guitars, intense harmony work and all round breathtaking sound.
Visually “Colors make the world go round” (quoted by Victoria Dunbar) so her shows comprise of frilly lights, miniature unplayable pianos and funked up marshal amps. The ground also lays home for layers of brightly colored silk and an ongoing bubble machine.

Victoria can be heard on radio, seen live around the state, in Rhythms magazine, or musically saturating cyber space.
