Victoria Leone

Music has always been a part of Victoria’s life and she has trained with a variety of vocal coaches, most notably Elaine Overholt (Hairspray, Chicago) and Micah Barnes (formerly of the Nylons).

Victoria’s accomplishments to date include numerous songwriting competition accolades such as being awarded to
record two tracks at Metalworks Studios in Mississauga, her single "Pretend" won top five status at Singer's Universe and top five status at Songwriters Universe online magazines. Most notably, Victoria won First Place in the International Songwritting Competition (Teen Category) 2010 which awarded her many prizes including a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston. Most recently, Victoria made Top 30 of EMICanada's MOArtist competition where her single
"Pretend" is on the compilation CD, now available on iTunes.

Victoria’s love of all music genres old and new gives her the inspiration to write fresh, unique and sultry songs. Her influences are numerous and include amongst many, Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, Kimbra and Adele.

Although music is Victoria’s first love, her performing career started in acting at the age of 10. Her acting resume is very well rounded as she’s held lead and support roles in different projects on TV, film and stage. Victoria is a gifted performer who has a natural “highly trained ear”, a gift most musicians spend a lifetime acquiring.

In addition to numerous vocal competitions, Victoria has performed at large charity events (eg. 2011 Zack Werner’s (Canadian Idol Judge) Epilepsy charity concert), and showcases for smaller audiences at intimate piano bars in Toronto.
