Biography

Finding hip hop talent in New York is no longer a struggle these days… however finding unique individuals may be. Some artist may arise year after year, with the same commercial sounds and productions, but ever so often we may find a face in the crowd we see often, but never noticed.

It is time to shine some light on Victorious, born to the streets of Brooklyn music was pumped into his blood at a very young age. His father has always been very vocally talented, and would often include Victorious in his lessons to fellow musicians.

The early 90’s proved to be a very educational time for Victorious. He was introduced by his father to a phenomenal DJ running the game locally. D.J. Jasey Jase, who took Victorious in giving him a little light, and soon enough Victorious, became The DJ’s DJ.

While studying the mechanic’s Victorious began dabbling in waters of his own while trying to find his niche in the industry, he was approached by, True Master, (producer of Old Dirty Bastard’s Brooklyn Zoo, and other Wu-Tang classics). Who later signed him to his Persia Legacy imprint.

While grinding on the underground music scene, Victorious struggled to free himself from the street culture of the hood. He took a hiatus, assessed his life and refocused on his music. He returned to the industry with his new vision on life and his new label, East Medina Entertainment. Victorious has done several Mixtape projects in the states and overseas. Also appearing on the track East MC’s on Masta Killa’s 2006 LP Made in Brooklyn.

In the summer of 2008 Victorious will be releasing The Antidote and will be on tour throughout the US and Europe.
