Bio
Victor J. Thompson, Sr., born November 27, 1965, was raised in the city of Norfolk, VA to the late G. H. Thompson, Sr. and Jean A. Thompson. He is the youngest of 4 siblings. Victor was raised in a Christian home with emphasis on Family prayer and devotions. His grandfather, the late Reverend Benjamin Salter was instrumental in teaching him obedience to the Lord and Servant hood. Victor also comes from a musical family. His sister is a classically trained pianist and currently serves as a choir director at her church. His mother also serves in the choir at her local church. His entire family supports and believes in his God given ability.
Victor has been married to Katrina A. Thompson for 10 years. From this union they have 2 beautiful children, Portia and Victor Jr.
Victor has been mentored and helped by some of the most anointed servants in the body of Christ. They include: The Late Reverend James Moore, Pastor Rance Allen, Darius Brooks, Duranice Pace, and many more. Through his many affiliations he has had the opportunity to share the stage with great artist such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kierra Ki-Ki Sheard, Timothy Wright, Kirk Franklin, Dorothy Norwood, Donald Lawrence & Tri-City Singers, LaShun Pace, Kirk Franklin & The Family, John P. Kee, Tye Tribbett & GA, Ricky Dillard & New G, Pam & Dodi, Damita Haddon, Kim Burrell, Myron Williams, Mary Mary, The Soul Seekers, Myron Butler and many, many more.
He is presently serving as an Associate Elder at New Community Temple COGIC where he serves with his mentor and spiritual father, Bishop Ted G. Thomas, Sr.
